Timo Weiland
Though independent designer Timo Weiland majored in Economics, Spanish Literature and Business Management, it was his keen understanding of fabrics, a love for painting and photography and his mother's training in sewing that spurred the launch of his namesake brand. Co-designed by Alan Eckstein, an FIT graduate with a penchant for Advertising and Marketing Communications, the label's Ready-to-wear collection was launched at New York Fashion Week for Spring 2010.

Timo and Alan's personal aesthetics, a flair for dapper dressing and their mutual interest in travel and European history influence the Timo Weiland design signature, which decidedly prompts a return to the art of dressing. The label comprises a range of clothing and accessories that provide complete, fashionable wardrobe solutions for men and women. Bold graphic prints, texture, sculptural shapes and a healthy shot of color combine sporty references and sophistication made for urban living.
